Have u heard that CIMB is closing 22 branches from Aug 2016? Is that means we are facing economic downturn? (As what the viral whatsapp recently). Let me share from my 12 years experience as a Financial Genius and graduated as an Actuarial Science.

Global banks have been reducing their branches while beefing up technological features at brick-and-mortar locations to reduce reliance on service staff and push more customers into digital products.

With the change in technology, branches are becoming less important.
With the 'ledakan digital', banks must close down some branches. I believe banks are looking at rationalising branches on an ongoing basis.

Sometimes, you close some and you open some.
