Peter Lee Consultancy WILLS IPOH PERAK I provide services which includes : Estate Planning,Company Secretarial, Business Consultancy and Accounting. As of to date, I have written 50 episodes.

I am Peter Lee and I am an Estate Planner in Rockwills since 2003. I Provide value added services to the clients in the area of Wills and Trust. I started my career as a Company Secretary since 1988 and am a member of the Malaysian Association of Company Secretaries, providing services to mainly Sdn .Bhd. companies in the field of company secretarial, Business consultancy, and Accounting. I began

writing short stories fortnightly with different scenarios since 2009 until 2011 in a local community paper called “Ipohecho” highlighting the importance of Estate Planning for a family. These articles were also translated into Chinese and published in Sin Chew newspapers since 2010. Beginning of 2012, I continued writing in Ipohecho once a month , and since then the stories are now presented in the form of a drama series with the title “In The Name of My Father’s Estate”. 💙 Siapa yang akan menjaga anak berkeperluan khas anda apabila anda sudah tiada?

Satu kisah benar baru-baru ini mengingatkan saya mengapa perancangan harta pusaka sebenarnya jauh lebih daripada sekadar soal wang.

Seorang ayah yang penyayang meninggal dunia secara tidak dijangka dan meninggalkan seorang anak lelaki berkeperluan khas. Walaupun beliau mempunyai simpanan dan wang KWSP, tiada Wasiat dan tiada penamaan dibuat. Keluarga terpaksa melalui proses undang-undang yang panjang sebelum mereka dapat mengakses dana yang diperlukan untuk penjagaan anak tersebut.

Jika anda mempunyai ahli keluarga berkeperluan khas, membuat perancangan lebih awal adalah antara hadiah terbesar yang boleh anda tinggalkan untuk mereka.

💙 யாரும் இல்லாத ஒரு நாளில், உங்களுடைய special needs குழந்தையை யார் கவனித்துக் கொள்வார்கள்?

சமீபத்தில் நடந்த ஒரு உண்மைச் சம்பவம், ஏன் estate planning என்பது பணத்தைப் பற்றியது மட்டுமல்ல என்பதை மீண்டும் நினைவூட்டியது.

அன்பான ஒரு தந்தை எதிர்பாராத விதமாக காலமானார். அவருக்குப் பின்னால் special needs கொண்ட ஒரு மகன் இருந்தார். அவரிடம் சேமிப்பும் EPF-உம் இருந்தபோதிலும், Will இல்லை, nomination-மும் செய்யப்படவில்லை. அதனால், மகனின் பராமரிப்புக்குத் தேவையான பணத்தைப் பெறுவதற்குக் கூட குடும்பத்தினர் நீண்ட சட்ட நடைமுறையை எதிர்கொள்ள வேண்டியிருந்தது.

உங்கள் குடும்பத்தில் special needs கொண்ட ஒருவர் இருந்தால், முன்கூட்டியே திட்டமிடுவது நீங்கள் அவர்களுக்கு விட்டுச் செல்லக்கூடிய மிகப் பெரிய அன்பான பரிசுகளில் ஒன்றாகும்.

💙 Who will care for your special needs child when you're no longer around?

A recent real-life case reminded me why estate planning is about so much more than money.

A loving father passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind his special needs son. Although he had savings and EPF, there was no Will and no nomination. The family faced a long legal process before they could even access the funds needed for his care.

If you have a special needs family member, planning ahead is one of the greatest gifts you can leave behind.
