EVERY TIME an insurance company revamps their policy IS a great time for the consumers.

Because then other insurers 𝘮𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 follow suit and revamp theirs.

As a result, the consumers get better and better coverage.

The new Prudential pregnancy plan has been launched on 14 January 2023.

And as an expecting parent myself, I am loving the product’s focus on child development disorders (e.g. autism, ADHD, speech developmental delay, etc) and the very sensible extension of its coverage period until 7 years old.

I love this because very often parents don’t obtain a correct and helpful diagnosis in time! From my limited understanding, child development disorders can be incredibly tricky to diagnose due to many, many reasons.

Just to compare, the other companies that do provide child development disorders coverage as well are covering them until a kid is 5 years old.

Having said that, there are other worthy alternatives on the market still, such as Allianz, Great Eastern and Manulife (more details on WHY below). But Prudential would be right up the alley of parents who value what I mentioned above.

Baby Daxton is not a pre-natal insurance client of mine, but a post-natal one instead 😄

Reason being, all insurance companies rejected the prenatal application because of a slight raise in his mommy's blood sugar.

Among all the claims I submit for my Prenatal Insurance clients, jaundice wins "The Highest Number Of Claims". Hands down.
