The main function of the Directorate of Employment, GNCT of Delhi is to render employment services to the job-seekers, job-providers and all other concerned through its 9 District Employment Exchanges / 2 Special Employment Exchanges for PH & 1 Special Employment Exchange for Ex-Servicemen, 3 University Employment Information & Guidance Bureaus. The Directorate of Employment, Delhi provides their
services its website www.employment.delhigovt.nic.in. At present the following employment services are being provided to the public.
• Online registration of job seekers
• Online updation of qualifications and other details in registration id
• Online notification of vacancies by job providers
• Sponsoring of jobseekers against notified vacancies
• Online sponsorship for short term / daily wage jobs for various house hold and other jobs.
• Collecting Employment Market Information (EMI) from employers under CNV Act 1959.
• Besides, above Directorate of Employment is also providing Vocational Guidance, Career Counseling and specific information on skill development to enhance their employability.
