🛑 GST Council has approved a 2-slab structure:
✅ 5% (essentials)
✅ 18% (standard goods)
❌ 12% & 28% rates removed

👕👟 Apparel & Footwear up to ₹2,500 → 5% GST
🧴🪥 Shampoo, toothpaste, talcum powder → 5% GST (down from 18%)
📺❄️ Electronics (TVs, ACs, etc.) → 18% GST (down from 28%)
🚬🚘 Luxury/Sin goods → 40% GST

⚠️ Govt may face $16–21 bn revenue loss
🏛️ Opposition-ruled states demand compensation

🔄 Also approved:
⚡ Faster refunds
🏢 MSME-friendly registration
📝 Automated return filing

🛑 *Why Did the Govt Ban Online Gaming?* 🕹️📵

🇮🇳 The government passed the act Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025 to protect the public and youth from the harms of online gaming.

*Here’s why:*

⚠️ *Addiction* : Many users, especially teens, were getting hooked for hours.

💸 *Financial Losses* : People were losing huge sums of money in real-money games.

🧠 *Mental Health Issues* : Increased anxiety, stress, and social isolation due to excessive gaming.

👮‍♂️ *Illegal Activities* : Rise in fraud, money laundering, and unregulated betting.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 *Family Impact* : Gaming addiction leading to family disputes and neglect of responsibilities.

📜 *What the Act Does:*
✅ Bans harmful & addictive games
✅ Regulates real-money games
✅ Protects minors from exploitation
✅ Promotes safer digital spaces

This is where you set the stage. Tell AI exactly:
