Tanker Free Mumbai by Swabhimaan Sanghatana "This is an official fan page of Tanker Free Mumbai Campaign led by Swabhimaan Sanghatana. We are young. We are new. We are Mumbai.

Lets all come together to pledge our stance of making our city Tanker-Mafia free" - by Nitesh Rane And we are here to make a difference! Every year about Rs. 3600 crore goes into the pockets of the water mafia which is our hard-earned money. This is an official page for raising our voice for our right-clean, potable drinking water for which we pay our taxes. The BMC tells us that there is a huge s

hortage of water in Mumbai. Are they running a comedy show here? Where do the gallons of water which pour down every year as rain go? This huge obfuscation that the BMC is doing, had been first brought into the forefront by Swabhmaan Sanghatana - An organisation run by the young and dynamic Nitesh Rane. Since then, there have been concerted efforts in making the authorities and the people aware of the huge "water mafia-made" crisis that the city is reeling under. We can all contribute to the nation-building in our own small way. By thwarting the efforts of these large-scale pick-pockets. Enough said, here is the call for a "TANKER FREE MUMBAI".

Since BMC officials can't come up with ideas, we'll give 'em some!! BMC should conduct experiments such as cloud seeding to attract maximum rainfall in catchment areas. This will ensure that water levels at the lakes don’t drop, subsequently, no water cuts.
