The Indian government is updating the compliance process for foreign taxpayers making cross-border transactions.

๐“๐ก๐ž ๐๐ข๐  ๐‚๐ก๐š๐ง๐ ๐ž: Effective ๐€๐ฉ๐ซ๐ข๐ฅ ๐Ÿ, ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”, the existing Form 10F is being replaced by the mandatory Form 41.

๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฌ๐ž: To claim benefits under the Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement (DTAA) and secure lower tax rates on payments like royalties, technical services, and interest.

๐‘๐ž๐ช๐ฎ๐ข๐ซ๐ž๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ ๐…๐จ๐ซ๐ฆ ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ: Foreign entities must provide PAN validation, country/tax details, and upload their Tax Residency Certificate (TRC) online.
