• What is the grant of ILS 400 000 being thrown around?
This a is completely separated and unrelated grant for qualifying businesses to cover fixed costs. This grant should not be confused with the grant to atzmayim.
• Are there other limitation or “buts” in the calculation?
The amount of the grant is generally calculated according to
70% of the taxable income of an average month in 2018, but not more than ILS 10,500. But the calculation formula includes a graded reduction in the amount of the grant to those whose annual income exceeds ILS 480,000 (an average ofILS the grant for every additional shekel in income. In this way, the grant gradually decreases as income climbs over ILS 40,000 a month, until it drops to ILS3,000 for self-employed persons with the maximum income earning the grant (NIS million a year). Above this level of income, the self-employed is not eligible for a grant - but may be eligible for the special "participation in fixed expenses,"
Wishing everyone good health and financial stability
