You guessed it! The one and only Oracle of Omaha!

Warren Buffett is currently the CEO of Berkshire Hathaway with a net worth of $105.2 billion USD as of 2021 making him the 6th richest person in the world.

He made his first investment at the age of only 11 years old when he bought three shares of Cities Service Preferred at $38 per share. Ever since then, he learnt a life long lesson and that is to be patient in the stock market.

Buffett graduated from Columbia Business School at 1951 where he met Benjamin “The Father of Value Investing” Graham, who was his economic professor.

Through Graham’s influence, he formed Buffett Partnership Ltd in 1956 in which Buffett followed his mentor’s principle of “undervalued” stocks with healthy fundamentals as well as potential growth to gain high return from his investments. One of the many companies he took control of was Berkshire Hathaway. He also made other successful ventures like the Washington Post, the Bank of America, Coca Cola and Apple Inc.

Buffett has married twice, and had 3 children with his first wife. After he separated from her, he has been happily married with former cocktail waitress, Astrid Menks since 2006.
