Excited to host our first Forum of 2026 on the 2nd February 🥳

🏘️ Caerphilly County Borough Council and Parkmans Estate Agents have unveiled plans to relaunch a group for private landlords for the new year.

📅 Dates for 2026 have been set for Caerphilly Landlord Forum:
• 2nd February
• 17th May
• 14th September
• 14th December

All meetings will be held at Caerphilly Council’s Penallta House headquarters in Ystrad Mynach and will be jointly hosted by representatives from the Council and Parkmans.

📣 📣 📣 📣 ANNOUNCEMENT 📣 📣 📣 📣

It is with great pleasure that I formally announce that I will now be joined by Kerry Denman, the Housing Solutions Manager for Caerphilly County Borough Council to take the Forum forward positively with the support from the Local Authorioty.

Please see the attached dates for next year in advance. With Kerry’s assistance we have secured the use of the Local Authorities amenities and the meetings will be held at the Ty Penallta.

We are excited about this refreshed relationship and hope your support will continue. A further email with venue details and agenda will be sent in January and I look forward to working with you in 2026.

Thank you to all our members who attended our Forum last night and many thanks to Gill Owens of the NRLA - National Residential Landlords Association and AJ and Sherry of Taurgo. With over 40 members we held a good debate ready for our collective submission to the White Paper following the Welsh Government’s report on the PRS

Great to see so many Caerphilly landlords conscious of providing good Lettings ☺️ 🏡

Thanks to Ryan at Murray’s and their staff for looking after us in a superbly run establishment and Parkmans and Aktons Caerphilly for sponsoring the beverages and mince pies

Not forgetting Stuart Armstrong for his recent involvement and assistance with the forum ‘behind the scenes’ - thank you also.

If anyone is interested the NRLA have invited our members to this free event…

The NRLA on Tour in Cardiff is THIS THURSDAY and will be THE event for the Private Rented Sector in Wales this year.

The FREE event is open to EVERYONE, not just members and not just landlords.
Whether you are a charity working in the Housing sector, Local authority staff with an interest of ending the Housing crisis or just a landlord with one rental property, this event is for you.
With addresses from Julie James, Housing Minister, our CEO Ben Beadle and James Ho**er, Head of Housing Strategy for Welsh Government
Being some of the speakers, this event is bound to be of interest to all.
