I am excited to have been invited to deliver a webinar for the initiative led by Leeds Beckett University to support next generation women leaders in the Leeds City Region.

A Scottish Widows Women and Retirement Report in 2021 found that "On average, women are retiring with significantly lower private pension wealth than men" but why is this?

I will be discussing :

✔ the importance of raising awareness of these issues

✔ what can be done to help women achieve .

I am excited (I think 😂) to share this Sunday 9th July I will be taking part in the Rotary Club of York Dragon Boat Challenge, an event that has raised a HUGE £1.4m for local charities.

I will be in the boat rowing to raise funds for Kitchen for Everyone. York. the charity I volunteer for on Sunday mornings, providing a hot breakfast to the homeless and vulnerable in York.

We rely completely on donations. Any sponsorship we raise will be donated two thirds to KEY and one third gets split between the Rotary’s nominated charities, this year they are Big Futures Foundation and KYRA women’s charity.
