Yesterday was a good day!👇

It was great to see 22 of Wrexham’s entrepreneurs and high potential employees working together in the JCB Skills Academy on Day 1 of our latest funded “Essential Professional Skills” training programme, working on communication & interpersonal skills and marketing essentials.

The demand and take up for this training course over the last 6 months has exceeded all of our expectations!

This was another fantastic group, and we really enjoyed the engagement and discussions throughout the day. Thank you to everyone who took part!

Thank you to all those who supported us with this latest programme and thanks to all of the local Wrexham businesses and organisations who invited people to take part in this programme.

We’re looking forward to seeing the group again next week on Day 2 of the programme when we’ll cover business finance essentials followed by an afternoon mastering presentation skills.

Thanks to UKSPF Multiply Funding, this 2-day in-person programme is free for anyone living in Wrexham County (aged 19 or over) and will develop some core business skills including: communication, emotional intelligence, business finance, marketing essentials, storytelling and presentation skills.

In line with the aims of the Multiply fund, you will also develop some core vocational maths skills.

There is free parking and we will provide a free buffet lunch for all attendees. We also have funding for transport to the training programme if required.

We were really pleased to welcome Nicolai Thomson, Co-Founder and CEO of Jenesys AI, to our Wrexham HQ last week to onboard us on to Jack, a world-leading AI-powered bookkeeping tool - and also to celebrate Nicolai’s birthday! 🤗

We are honoured and delighted to have been chosen as one of only a handful of accounting firms to take part in Jack’s ‘Early Adopters’ programme. The future roadmap for Jenesys AI looks very exciting and we’re delighted to join them on their journey.
