We'd like to congratulate Sally Whitehead, one of our Associate Advisers, on her success in completing a 13-mile trek around London in support of Alzheimer's Society! Sally (pictured right) completed this walk with her daughter Lauren, her sister Claire (pictured left) and their friend Amanda. A fantastic achievement and a cause close to many hearts. Well done Sally!

Gill Lynes, our Director of Later Life Planning, attended the financial advice drop in session at Beehive Care in Ferring this week.

These sessions help those seeking guidance on financial matters such as paying for care.

We are really glad to offer our support to this worthwhile charity, please do look at the Beehive website to see when we’re next in Ferring and their new site in Lancing.

Beehive Care is a charity offering respite care, home help, supported living, dementia care, and residential services.

Last Thursday our Financial Planning Manager Ben Keeley attended Irwin Mitchell’s Spring Event in Brighton, celebrating the anniversary of Irwin Mitchell’s new Brighton office opening and how their business continues to grow along the South coast. It was a fantastic evening in the sunshine, networking with the local business community across accountancy, audit, finance, legal, property, and others

Gill Lynes, Director of Later Life Advice for CB Financial Advisers attended the spring meeting of the West Sussex Dementia Network at the Shoreham Centre yesterday.

It was inspiring to hear the speakers talk about their own experiences of living with dementia and the positive changes that have been made locally to support them.

We also heard from volunteers who have made a real impact locally and have helped to make West Sussex a more dementia friendly place to live.

Gil Lynes, Director of Later Life Advice at CB Financial Advisers is delighted to attend the Live Well For Longer Event at Worthing Library on the 27th March from 10 am – 2pm.
