The Journey begins

I'm delighted to be given the opportunity to start the business and hopefully you will enjoy being a client of the business going forward

This year has been a really strange year for us all and I can't wait to get back to some form of normality but in the meantime I really hope that you manage to stay safe and well during this difficult time. Something that I have been passionate about for some time is giving back to those that need it most and l have made the decision in the business to give 5% of my year end profits to a given local charity. Please drop me an email for any that should be considered.

I have spent the last few months putting everything together for the business and been working hard to put in place a business that is sustainable and adaptable to change when needed. You the clients are the true focus and we want you to feel part of the CLP family going forward. Unfortunately many financial practices act in a very transactional way and this is something I am certain wont happen within this business, with a true focus on your life and making sure we plan properly so that you can achieve everything you want without worrying about if its affordable.

Everything we do will have a true focus on those plans and I have been fortunate enough to discover some fantastic software which will be thought provoking and give you the piece of mind that they achievable, on the flipside we will let you know what is needed if they aren't achievable. Transparency is one of our values and I would certainly want everyone to provide any feedback going forward good or bad. Please follow us on social media if that is your thing as videos and other information will be shared on a regular basis.

ESG & Positive Impact Investing??

The three pillars of ESG Investing (Environmental, Social & Governance) combine to define what most people would categorise as good business practice. Environmental issues cover how companies interact with the environment, Social issues cover companies’ conduct towards their internal and external communities, and Governance issues cover how companies behave in their business activities.

Since 2019 I have seen more and more people talking about looking after the future world; for there grandchildren and great grand-children. However I believe it is also more than this as we need to invest in those companies that are looking to make the changes required for today and tomorrow.

Many clients have strong views on some of the areas in which they look to invest in but this has previously meant higher fund costs and sacrificing some downside on your returns, this has now changed though; with many investment businesses launching ESG and positive impact funds in the passive market place with the likes of EQ Investors having been in this space for quite some time and making great strides in providing clients with competitively priced solutions which certainly have performed very well against its ARC benchmark.
