Is a financial planner the same as an accountant?
People often get confused and assume that financial planners and accountants do the same job.
But we are very different!
A financial planner sometimes called an IFA, can help you with retirement planning, managing investments, personal risk protection and all-round financial advice.
As an accountant our specialism is your business finances, tax commitments, reporting, budgeting, and general business guidance. So, for example, we cannot offer advice on pensions or investments.
We are always here to help and we have a number of trusted advisors we know if its an area we do not deal with.
