The question most financial plans quietly avoid: what happens if you need care one day?
Not because anyone likes thinking about it. I don't either, if I'm honest. But I've sat with enough women through enough transitions to know that the plans that hold up are the ones that looked this in the eye early - not the ones that hoped it wouldn't come up.
So it's something we build in properly. Not as a worst-case footnote, but as a real scenario we model, test and plan around - including the one thing I always caution women against when they try to "protect" their assets from care costs.
This isn't about predicting the future. It's about knowing your plan can hold whatever it brings.
Have a watch - I think this is one of the more important conversations to have.
