2024 saw a definite increase in enquiries from potential new clients.

Continuum saw assets under influence rise to £2.4bn last year, a 23% increase on 2023.

Martin Brown, Managing Partner at Continuum said: "We have achieved several new records despite the backdrop of economic uncertainty and a changing regulatory landscape. The demand and need for high quality advice continues to increase every day as more people seek advice for the first time."

We have certainly had more enquiries from new clients this year. Mainly down to other adviser companies not delivering the service offering they promised.

National IFA firm Continuum recorded a 26% year-on-year increase in assets under influence to £2.35bn for the quarter ended 30 September.

Continuum's annualised turnover projection increased by 21% year-on-year, which they said reflected the "continuing growth and future potential for the business which has the goal of becoming a household brand in the near future".

Continuum managing partner Martin Brown said: "Our surveys have shown that trust remains the key factor in driving new clients when it comes to choosing a financial adviser, with people actively seeking an adviser and a brand they can rely on. We expect the demand for financial advice to stay strong through the remainder of the year and into 2025."
