It’s time to reintroduce myself 👋

Hi, I’m Renata.

First and foremost, I’m a mum to two amazing kids 😍
A woman chasing her dream.
A business owner.
An award-winning bookkeeper.
A Small Business Sunday winner.

I’m the face behind my own bookkeeping practice, supporting ambitious business owners who are brilliant at what they do… but would rather deep-clean the oven than look at their bookkeeping 😳

And honestly? I don’t blame you.

But I don’t just “do the books.”

I help you:
✔️ Understand where your money actually goes
✔️ Stop panicking when HMRC sends a letter
✔️ Know exactly where your business stands so you can make decisions with confidence
✔️ Sleep better at night, knowing your business finances are properly taken care of

Because bookkeeping isn’t about spreadsheets.
It’s about clarity. Control. And calm.

I work with sole traders and limited companies at all stages who are ready to treat their business finances as a priority - not as that scary task sitting at the bottom of the to-do list.

The result?

Less stress.
More confidence.
Better decisions.
And a business that actually supports your life (not the other way around).

So let me ask you…

How do you really feel about your business finances?
Do you feel stressed at the first thought of them?
Have you considered outsourcing your bookkeeping to a professional so you can focus on growing your business?

If you're ready for clarity instead of confusion - my inbox is open.

And before you scroll away - tell me:
What do you do, and what’s the one thing in business that makes you procrastinate? 🤨

Would you prefer a supportive expert who makes you feel comfortable, or a straightforward professional who gets right to the point?

Some people thrive on encouragement, while others appreciate a direct approach.

Consider this:
- A supportive expert can help ease your worries and provide reassurance.
- A direct professional can save you time and deliver the facts quickly.

In business, both styles have their advantages.

As a bookkeeper, I encounter this every day. Some clients enjoy a friendly chat while we sort out their finances, while others just want the essential details without the fluff. I understand!

Finding the right balance is crucial. It’s about knowing what works best for you and your business.

So, which style do you lean towards? Share your thoughts!

Ever feel like your current service just isn’t meeting your needs? You’re not alone!

It’s important to recognize when it might be time to consider a change. Here are some signs that could indicate it’s time to rethink your provider:

- **Communication Issues**: If you find yourself constantly following up for answers, it might be time to look elsewhere.
- **Impersonal Service**: If you feel like just another client, that’s a concern. You deserve to be treated as a priority!
- **Quality Fluctuations**: If the service quality feels inconsistent, it’s hard to feel confident.
- **Lack of Support for Growth**: If they’re not helping you improve, it’s worth considering other options.

Making a change can be challenging, especially after investing time and energy. But your business deserves the best support available.

Have you ever had to switch providers? What factors influenced your decision?

Ever feel like you're trying to keep too many balls in the air? Trying to please everyone can feel overwhelming.

When you stretch yourself too thin, burnout is often the result, and your outcomes can suffer.

I used to think that saying 'yes' to every client was the best approach. It turned out to be exhausting. Now, I concentrate on clients who align with my values and needs.

Here’s what I’ve learned:
- Quality over quantity is essential.
- Strong relationships make a significant difference.
- It's perfectly fine to say 'no' sometimes.

As a bookkeeper, I understand the challenges of balancing work and family life. I’m here to support women and small business owners, helping them gain clarity and confidence in their finances.

If you're feeling overwhelmed, take a moment to step back. Focus on what truly matters to you.

What’s one thing you can let go of today?

Have you considered how much easier life could be with a bookkeeper by your side?

Here are four reasons why hiring one might be a smart move:

1. **Relaxation Time**: Imagine lounging on a beach, sipping a drink, while your finances are in order. A bookkeeper keeps everything running smoothly while you take a break.

2. **Financial Clarity**: Curious about where your money is going? A bookkeeper helps you understand your finances better, providing insights that can lead to smarter decisions.

3. **Focus on What You Love**: Spend less time on paperwork and more time on what truly matters to you. A bookkeeper handles the numbers so you can concentrate on growing your business.

4. **Save Time and Reduce Stress**: Think about all the hours you’ll save and the stress you’ll avoid. That’s more time for family, hobbies, or just some well-deserved rest!

Balancing work and life can be challenging, but a bookkeeper can help ease the burden. How do you think a little support could make a difference for you?

I didn’t realize I was burning out… until even the small tasks felt heavy.

I used to think burnout only happened when you worked too much. What I didn’t realize was that it can also creep in quietly when you’re constantly “on” - juggling work, family, and the mental load of keeping everything together.

For a while, I ignored the signs: the tired mornings, the lack of motivation, the feeling that even simple tasks took twice the energy. I told myself to just push through. But it wasn’t sustainable.

What helped me shift was slowing down and setting clear boundaries. I started carving out small non-negotiables: a short walk, closing the laptop at a set time, and giving myself permission to not be available 24/7. Strangely enough, once I allowed space to recharge, I became more productive and present - both at work and at home.

Looking back, I see burnout as less of a failure and more of a signal. A reminder that balance isn’t about doing everything perfectly - it’s about protecting your energy so you can keep showing up for the things that matter.

Has anyone else felt that quiet kind of burnout before? How did you move through it?

When “trust me, it’s done” isn’t enough…

I recently spoke with a business owner who shared a frustrating experience:
They trusted their accountant to file the tax return, only to discover later it hadn’t been submitted on time. The result? A fine.

Hearing this made me reflect. Trust is at the heart of any client - professional relationship, but what happens when that trust is broken?

For me, it’s not enough to just say “it’s done.” I make sure everything is submitted, double-check, and provide confirmation so my clients have peace of mind. Accountability matters.

But here’s the bigger question: How do we, as professionals, rebuild trust in our field when some people pretend to be specialists and let clients down?

I’d love to hear your thoughts - if you were in this situation, would you give that professional another chance, or would the trust be gone for good?

Have you ever considered filing your taxes early?

It might not seem exciting, but it can save you a lot of stress down the line!

Here’s why getting ahead of your taxes is a smart choice:

- Clarity on Your Tax Bill: Knowing what you owe means no more guessing. You can plan your finances better!
- Avoiding Penalties: Late fees can add up quickly. Filing early helps you steer clear of those surprises.
- Less Stress: Who wants to scramble at the last minute? Filing early lets you relax instead of worrying about paperwork.

Think of it as getting your chores done early – you get to enjoy your free time while others are rushing around!

So, why not take a little time now to make your life easier later? What’s your approach to handling tax returns?

Feeling drained? You’re not alone!

Sometimes, it feels like we’re running on empty, and it’s easy to let our energy slip away.

Here are three simple ways to protect your energy without needing a full weekend away:

- Say no more often. If you find yourself always trying to please others, it might be time to take a step back. Saying no can be tough, but it’s a way to keep your energy for what truly matters. Your time is valuable!

- Take quick breaks. If you’re working non-stop, try stepping away for just five minutes every hour. Stretch, breathe, or grab a snack. A little break can make a big difference.

- Let it out. Holding in your feelings can be tiring. Talk to a friend or jot down your thoughts in a journal. You might be surprised at how much lighter you feel afterward.

Protecting your energy isn’t selfish; it’s necessary! What’s your favorite way to recharge?

Are you feeling overwhelmed with your business finances?

Knowing when to seek help can be tricky. Some wait until it’s a total mess, while others jump in too soon. So, how do you know when it’s the right time?

Here are some signs to look out for:

- You’re stressed just thinking about your accounts.
- You keep putting off bookkeeping tasks until they pile up.
- You feel lost when it comes to understanding your financial reports.
- You’re spending more time on paperwork than on your passion.

Asking for help is a sign of strength, not failure. It shows you’re ready to get a handle on your finances and focus on what you love.

If any of these sound familiar, it might be time to reach out for support. You deserve to feel confident in your business!

What’s been your biggest challenge with bookkeeping?
