We managed to get the first quarterly filing done for our clients last week with not too much grief. If anyone was planning to do this themselves and decided that wasn’t a good decision our books are open for new clients so get in touch we are happy to help

We had our busiest month ever in July! Even busier than any previous January ! We are shattered. With so many clients trying to beat the dreaded VAT being implemented and I have to say we have gone over and above what we expected to get out in July so we hopefully have some very happy clients.

Alongside this we’ve been busy filing the first quarterly statements for the making tax digital clients with only a few left to go. Thank you guys for doing what we’ve asked, you’ve all done so well with only a tiny minority of clients making it harder than it should be! If you haven’t heard from us you are doing everything well. If anyone needs to book in for any extra help please get in touch as a few are really struggling to get to grips with the new system.

I would like to say a massive thank you to Charli who has worked her socks off getting all the quarterly filing over the line, without her I just simply wouldn’t be able to do all of this extra work! we’ve still got a week left so we will be cracking on to get these in before the deadline.

Here’s the payment link for paying self assessment tax if you haven’t got the app

Payment options for your Self Assessment tax bill - Direct Debit, bank transfer, through your tax code, debit or credit card, cheque and pay weekly or monthly

Your payments on account won’t show on your HMRC account/app immediately they do take about 5 days to show. So if you’ve just made a payment and it’s not showing yet don’t panic check back in a weeks time.

Just incase anyone needs a reminder the second payment on account is due by 31st July 2026. You can check what you need to pay by looking at your email from me or checking your HMRC app, please get in touch if the amounts are not the same
