Looking to apply for a mortgage? Here’s a few things you can do to help get yourself mortgage ready:

1. Keep an eye on your credit score – to improve your credit score ensure you’re registered on the electoral roll where you live, pay your bills on time, and fully pay your credit card balance each month.

2. Budget – review your income and outgoings, think about cancelling subscriptions and accounts that you no longer use, and have a look into paying down the debt you currently hold where possible to improve your mortgage affordability.

3.Get good advice – the right mortgage for you depends a lot of different factors, it’s my job to find the right deal for my clients and guide you through the whole process!

A mortgage is secured against your home or property, it could be repossessed if you do not keep up mortgage repayments
