2025, that’s a wrap 🎄

We ended our working year with a trip to with the team (missing Becky and Elly). The guys enjoyed a round of golf whilst us ladies made the most of the spa, finished off with a lovely meal.

What a year this has been. We won’t make any promises to be better at posting on social media in the new year, but we will promise to continue to be there and to show up for our clients. To provide the best advice that we can, and to continue to develop and evolve in line with what our clients need.

Thank you to everyone who has been a part of Myers Financial Consultancy during 2025. We are looking forward to continuing relationships in 2026, and making new ones too.

We really do have the best team here at MFC and we couldn’t do what we do without them and so a special thanks goes to Becky, Kulli and Elly.

Why are we talking about this? Well, if you’re applying for insurance currently, are you aware that you need to declare this on your application? Non-disclosure can lead to issues when making a claim.

Our virtual event ‘Inspiring Women in Financial Services 2025’ is taking place today.

This engaging virtual event brings together inspiring voices from across the Openwork Group and beyond. We’ll explore how we attract more women into our industry, support their development throughout their careers, and empower the next generation of female talent.

The morning includes expert panels, interactive discussions, and an exciting keynote session.

Carrie Morris is leading a session on recruiting women into our industry as we speak with Sophie Barker, Sharon Johnson and Donna Lesley.

Helen Longland follows at 10:40, focusing on nurturing talent, before Ellen Watson explores engaging younger women at 11:30.

Anabel Kindersley delivers the keynote at noon, and Claire Limon closes the event with a look ahead to 2026.

⛳️ On Friday James & Steve attended the much anticipated golf competition. The BroProject is a local charity that raises awareness for men’s mental health and puts on regular events that allow men of all ages to get together and support each other. It’s a charity that both James and Steve have been involved with for a couple of years and would encourage everyone to check it out. Just type in BroProject on your socials 🏌🏽

An unintentional silence from us here at Myers Financial. In all honesty, we have been really busy with our clients, old and new. This will always take a priority for us over social media, even though that goes against everything we’re told. So just know that if we aren’t posting, we are still here!
