For some reason when I post it's keeps deleteing all the text I write, so here it is added in an edit!

This fantastic group of ladies joined me to make willow framed baskets. Despite the very hot weather and very distracting beautiful backdrop they all made their first time framed baskets and left with a variety of uses in mind. From strawberry picking to fruit storage.

They all did fantastic jobs of weaving and got to have a lovely walk around the gardens.

I will be back there on the 13th June for a willow edging workshop.

Well, look no further I'm running a willow heart workshop on the 11th August and a willow deer workshop on the 3rd of September. These two workshops have a sumptuous lunch included with a choice between many tasty platters.

So tomorrow this squirrel will be hitching a lift up the A1 on my trailer to . If you were looking for a size comparison my workshops doors are 8ft tall. Let's hope they are happy with him and he has a nice resting place!

Todays willow trug workshop at mine, 4 beautiful trugs made and one of them was massive, the gentleman who made it wanted to make slightly slopy out sides on top of an already large base. Have a look at pic 3 to see the comparison to a normal trug.

Great students and nice company. Thank you to everyone this weekend, round baskets yesterday and Trugs today, you've all been fabulous!
