It’s never too late to make a dream take flight!

Some stories remind us exactly why we do what we do at Henwood Court. This is one of them. 💜

On 16th August, our longstanding client Richard finally fulfilled a lifelong ambition: flying in a Spitfire!

Richard has been part of the Henwood Court family for over 15 years, and his love of aviation is something we’ve known about for a long time.

In fact, when we looked back through his financial planning action lists, we found his Spitfire dream written down in 2018!

Eight years later, he finally took to the skies at Tatenhill Airfield, complete with two victory rolls!

For us, this is what financial planning is really about. Yes, we help our clients manage their wealth and plan for the future, but it’s the experiences, memories and moments like these that make our work so rewarding.

Because life isn’t just about the wealth you build. It’s about what that wealth allows you to experience.

Today, we’re celebrating a very special milestone as our wonderful Lenea, or as she’s known to us and many of our clients, Le, celebrates 10 years with Henwood Court! 💜✨

Over the past decade, Le has been a key member of the team, working behind the scenes to support our Financial Planners in delivering the very best service to our clients. She goes above and beyond for both clients and colleagues alike, and her dedication, care and commitment make her such an invaluable part of the HC family.

But it’s not just her hard work that makes Le so special! She’s also the life and soul of the party, our very own MC and DJ, and a talented poet who has treated us to some amazing poems over the years! She’s also the person you can always count on to have her rollers in by 6am when there’s a Christmas party on the horizon! 🎤

We’re incredibly lucky to have Le as part of our team and are so grateful for everything she brings to Henwood Court, both in and out of the office.

Thank you, Le, for 10 wonderful years! 💜🥂

We are delighted to announce Liberty Jamboree as Henwood Court’s Charity of the Year! 💜

Liberty Jamboree is a truly fantastic local charity doing incredible work to support children, young people and young adults with special educational needs, disabilities and additional challenges across Staffordshire and the West Midlands.

Through inclusive youth clubs, sports, social activities, holidays and opportunities to develop life and employment skills, Liberty creates a community where young people can build confidence, develop independence, form friendships and, most importantly, enjoy life to the fullest.

This morning, we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming a small group from Liberty to the Cruck Barn.

They spent time meeting our team, introducing themselves, telling us about everything they have been getting up to and enjoying a little tour of our home here at Henwood Court.

It was wonderful to meet them all, hear their stories and see first-hand the amazing people who make the Liberty community so special. They certainly set our whole team off on a lovely start to the day!

The work Liberty does is truly inspiring, from creating opportunities and building friendships to encouraging independence and making lasting memories, the difference they make to the lives of so many young people and their families is something very special.

We are so looking forward to getting involved in the Liberty community over the coming year, getting to know more of the wonderful people behind it and doing our little part to support this amazing charity and the difference it makes.

Today, we’re celebrating a very special milestone as our wonderful Helen Allen reaches 10 years with Henwood Court 🥂

For the past decade, Helen has been a dedicated Financial Planner, building genuine and lasting relationships with her clients and always going the extra mile to support them. Her commitment, care and passion for what she does have made such a lasting impact on both her clients and everyone here at Henwood Court.

We feel incredibly lucky to have had Helen as part of our journey for the past 10 years and are so grateful for everything she brings to the team!

Paul is now a Trustee of Tackle Prostate Cancer , supporting others affected by the condition and helping to raise awareness.
