Our very own Dave Perrigo will be pounding the streets of Newcastle and South Shields on Sunday 13th September, taking on 13.1 miles alongside friends who are raising money for causes close to their hearts. 🏃

Ella and Simon Wilson are running in memory of Lisa Wilson, Ella’s mum and Simon’s wife, who sadly lost her life to leukaemia. Lisa was a truly special and inspiring person who was taken far too soon.

What a fantastic weekend at Stourport Boat Club! 🚣♂️🤩

We were delighted to support this year’s Stourport Regatta & Sprint as a sponsor, made even more special as the club celebrates its incredible 150th anniversary.

It was great to see so many competitors, supporters and members of the local community come together for such a brilliant weekend of racing.

A huge well done to everyone who took part, and to all of the organisers and volunteers who worked behind the scenes to make the weekend such a success.

📢 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗽𝘂𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟴, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗿𝘂𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀?

It has been announced that planned changes to Companies House filing requirements will begin in April 2028, rather than April 2027.

Small companies and micro-entities will need to prepare for several changes, including:

✅ Filing a profit and loss account with Companies House
✅ Using commercial software to file annual accounts
✅ The removal of abridged accounts

Businesses will be able to opt out of displaying their profit and loss account on the public register, although the information must still be filed with Companies House.

There’s nothing you need to change immediately, but the extra year gives you time to understand the new rules and make sure your systems are ready.

👋 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗢𝘄𝗲𝗻, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗼 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀!

Owen has joined us as our Business Administration Apprentice and is working towards his Level 3 qualification while learning on the job.

Owen has already settled in brilliantly, and we’re delighted to have him as part of the Perrigo team. We’re looking forward to supporting him as he works towards his qualification and develops his skills along the way.

We believe it’s important to give young people the opportunity to take their first steps into the working world.

A big thank you to Nova Training for supporting Owen throughout his apprenticeship.

Dave recently enjoyed a great day on the golf course with some of our clients. It was a brilliant opportunity to catch up, enjoy a little friendly competition and spend time together outside the usual business setting.

If you make Payments on Account through Self Assessment, don't forget that your second payment for the 2025/26 tax year is due by 𝟯𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

Missing the deadline could mean interest being charged on any outstanding amount.

If you're worried about paying:
✔️ You may be able to set up a payment plan with HMRC.
✔️ If you expect your tax bill to be lower than last year's, you may be able to reduce your Payments on Account.
