We reached Xero Gold Partner status within our first six months of business 🏅

It wasn’t something we set out to shout about, but it does reflect how we’ve approached things from the beginning. Getting systems right early, working closely with clients, and building things properly.

A big part of what we do is helping businesses move away from manual processes and into more efficient, cloud-based systems. The difference that makes day to day can be huge.

We’re based in Belbroughton, just outside Stourbridge📍

It works well for us. Close enough to Birmingham to stay well connected, but still very much part of the local business community.

We work with businesses across the Midlands and further afield, but a lot of our clients are local, owner-managed or family-run businesses who value having someone they can easily pick up the phone to.

Being accessible and easy to work with is a big part of how we operate, and something we don’t plan on changing as we grow.

We thought it made sense to properly introduce MAC X 👋

The business officially started in 👉️ October 2024, but the thinking behind it goes back much further.

After years of working with owner-managed businesses, it became clear that a lot of people weren’t getting the level of support they needed. Most were only hearing from their accountant once a year, with very little advice in between.

MAC X was built to change that.

We focus on being proactive, easy to work with, and actually helping clients understand and improve their business, not just handle compliance.

⏰ P11D Season is Here!

Just a quick heads up that it’s time to start preparing your P11Ds.

If you’ve provided employees or directors with any benefits in kind (like company cars, private medical insurance, or other perks), you’ll need to report these to HMRC.

📅 Deadline for submitting P11Ds: 6 July
💸 Class 1A National Insurance payment due: 22 July (19 July if paying by post)

Getting everything sorted early can save a lot of last-minute stress, so now’s a great time to gather your information and check your records.

However, have you ever reviewed your employee and director benefits with your accountant to ensure that they are treated in the most tax efficient way?!!
