King Charles will become Britain's first in modern times to reveal his personal tax bill. His payments will be shared on Thursday as a new element in the annual royal financial accounts, with the decision said by Palace sources to have been a personal one by the King.

Congratulations Naomi!

Congratulations to Naomi Medcalf-Fountain who has recently passed the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualification at Level 4 with flying colours.

Since joining Baines Jewitt in 2023, Naomi has also gained an AAT Level 3 qualification. Prior to starting out on her chosen career path with us, Naomi completed A-levels in business, accounting, and economics at college.

Her academic achievements, coupled with plenty of hands-on experience in the workplace, have given Naomi a great foothold to becoming a chartered accountant in the future.

When she’s not working or studying, Naomi is an avid football fan. As well as following the FIFA World Cup matches with interest, she will soon be back at the Riverside Stadium to cheer on her beloved Boro when the new season starts.

We're delighted to welcome a new accounting professional, Jenny Townsley, to our organisation. Prior to joining Baines Jewitt, Jenny worked for a small family-run chartered accountancy practice in Stockton.

As part of her professional status, Jenny holds an Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) Level 4 Diploma in Professional Accounting, which is the final and most advanced stage of the AAT qualification pathway.
