Another week, another addition to the team.

📢 We’re hiring – Accountant / Accounts Assistant (Newcastle office)

We’re looking for an Accountant or Accounts Assistant to join our team in our Newcastle office.

This role would suit someone already working in practice, or an accounts assistant looking to take the next step and build their experience in a modern accountancy firm.

You’ll be supporting a varied client base and working with cloud software as part of a supportive, down-to-earth team.

Experience with Xero would be ideal, but what matters most is a good attitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

🎂 Apparently we’re 2.

In a couple of days, the business turns two. Which is a bit mad, because day one involved hitting the ground running, plenty going on, and not much time to stop and think about it.

Tax return season is over for another year, with over 900 returns submitted and with Making Tax Digital changes coming in from April 2026, we’re here to help clients get ready for the transition.

This isn’t a brag post. Just a genuine thank-you to the team (those who’ve been here from the start and those who joined along the way), our clients, and everyone who’s backed us over the last two years.

Year 3… let’s see what happens next

Now that Tax Return season is all but over, we’re looking for two bookkeepers to join our growing team.

You may already be working in another firm, or you could be coming from industry or a general office role. As long as you’re organised, comfortable with bookkeeping, and take pride in getting things right, we’d love to hear from you.

Experience with Xero is a strong advantage, but not essential.
