🚗🚨Big news for employees and the self-employed🚨🚗

The Chancellor has announced an increase to Approved Mileage Allowance Payments (AMAPs), effective from 6 April 2026 for the 2026/27 tax year — the first change in 15 years!

Here’s what’s changing:
-55p per mile for the first 10,000 business miles
-25p per mile for every mile over 10,000

What this means:
-Employers may choose to backdate mileage reimbursements already paid this tax year to match the new rate
-Employees paid below the AMAP rate may still be able to claim tax relief on the difference
-Self-employed individuals can use the new rates on their 2026/27 tax return

We’re looking for a Trainee Accountant and Tax assistant to join our Dover office, starting in August.

The position would suit a school leaver with strong A-level grades or a graduate with a 2.2 qualification or better.

Enjoy structured training, real client exposure, and career progression as you gain experience and exam successes.
