Two events. One day. More than 80 guests. And a lot going on behind the scenes.

Tuesday was a big one for the Citrus team, with The Inheritance Tax Trap event in the morning and The Pension Reality Check event in the evening, both at Kingdom in Penshurst.

There’s a lot that goes into making days like this run smoothly. Presentations to deliver, guests to welcome, registration desks to manage, parking to help with, questions to answer and plenty of small details to make sure everyone feels comfortable and looked after.

This photo was taken during a very well earned late lunch between the two events.

We’re incredibly proud of the whole team. Whether presenting, answering questions, welcoming guests or quietly making sure everything worked as it should, everyone played their part.

It was a long day, but a really enjoyable one, and seeing more than 80 people join us across the two events made it all worthwhile.

A brilliant evening at Kingdom for The Pension Reality Check.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in Penshurst for an evening of honest conversation about pensions, retirement and the big question: are you really on track for the retirement you want?

There were some great questions during the Q&A and plenty more conversations afterwards over drinks and bowl food.

We wanted this event to feel useful, relaxed and a little different from the usual financial seminar, and Kingdom gave us exactly the right setting.

We had a fantastic turnout, lots of thoughtful questions and some really useful conversations around the forthcoming changes to Inheritance Tax and what they could mean for families.

Kingdom was the perfect setting too. A beautiful venue, a warm welcome and a brilliant lunch to round off the morning.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us last night for First Home, First Steps in East Grinstead.

It was a really enjoyable evening, with plenty of great questions and some very useful discussion around the mortgage, property and legal sides of buying a first home.

Thank you to Steve Ody for covering the mortgage do’s and don’ts, to Sam Benson of RH & RW Clutton for sharing her insight into the property-buying process, and to Elizabeth Philp of Setfords Solicitors for making the legal side feel that bit less daunting.

A special thank you too to David Braithwaite for hosting the Q&A and helping bring all three perspectives together.
