National Minimum Wage Increase

Starting today, April 1, 2025, millions of workers across the UK will see a boost in their pay as the National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage rise.

New Rates:
✅ 21 and over: £12.21 per hour (up from £11.44)
✅ 18-20 years old: £10.00 per hour (16.3% increase)
✅ 16-17 years old & apprentices: £7.55 per hour (18% increase)

While this is a step forward, campaigners continue to push for wages that reflect the Real Living Wage, currently set at £12.60 per hour nationally and £13.85 in London.
