Nick recently completed the Yorkshire 3 Peaks raising money for The Sickle Cell Society.

The Sickle Cell Society is the only national charity in the UK that supports and represents people affected by sickle cell disease to improve their overall quality of life. People with the disease produce unusually shaped red blood cells and they can cause problems because the red blood cells do not live as long as healthy blood cells and can block blood vessels. It is a serious and lifelong health condition, although treatment can help manage many of the symptoms.

Tom recently volunteered at the Lively Lunch at St. Luke's Church, which occurs every other Monday. The event unites people from diverse backgrounds, including those facing homelessness, providing a welcoming atmosphere with a three-course meal, hot drinks, and friendly chats. Tom met various people, listening to their stories and spreading kindness while helping to raise funds for Help in Crisis. By the day's end, he felt tired yet thankful, having made a positive impact on around 60 individuals.❤️

We’re proud to be supporting The Rainbow Centre, Scarborough again this year with our baked bean collection.

In 2021, we set a target of 1,450 tins and, together, we reached 1,677. This year, we’re aiming even higher.

Our goal is to collect 2,000 tins by 1st September 2026, helping to support those who rely on the Rainbow Centre’s services within our local community.

If you’re able to donate, you can drop tins off at our office. Every contribution makes a difference.
