Look at the size of these three!

These alien looking creatures are ticks - parasites that suck the blood of their hosts - in this case, our pets!

Regular treatment of antiparasitic medication and regular grooming to search for them, can significantly minimise their success!

These not-so-little creatures swell as they feed making it easier to spot them and can look like skin tags.

If you find a tick on your pet, make sure to remove the head, which buries into the skin❗️

The remains of Rothbury Castle are however long gone.
