Role: Senior Accounts Assistant
Working pattern: Full time - Permanent
Hours: 9.30am-17.30pm Monday to Friday
Salary negotiable (depending on experience)
Location: Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire
Start date: February 2026

Job Requirements:
The successful candidate MUST have:
⁃ Previous experience within an accountancy practice
⁃ Excellent communication skills
⁃ A good working knowledge of accounts and bookkeeping software is essential.
⁃ Competency in the following tasks;
• The completion of year-end accounts for sole trader, partnerships and ltd companies.
• Personal Self Assessment Tax returns, computations etc.
• Meet statutory deadlines for VAT, Payroll, Statutory Accounts, Company and Personal Tax.
• Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients.
Other duties:
Help grow the business through referrals.
Respond to client enquiries in line with the company policy.
Manage client relationships whilst building a strong rapport and developing client loyalty.
Working as a team to continuously deliver the agreed level of service.
Helping mentor junior staff members.
