March financial year ends for companies are the most common accounting periods as they coincide with the tax year but it does also mean the accounts are due at the end of December each year.
We are also fast approaching the filing deadline for people who are a sole trader or part of a partnership being the end of January.
Keeping your bookkeeping up to date is a chore at the best of times and December is a busy time of year for a lot of people on the approach to Christmas.
