💷 ISA Changes on the Horizon?

There has been increasing speculation about potential changes to ISA legislation, particularly around the treatment of cash held within Stocks & Shares ISAs. Whilst no changes have been confirmed, proposals being discussed in the media include:

🔹 A potential tax charge on cash held within Stocks & Shares ISAs
🔹 Possible restrictions on holding only "cash-like" assets within
investment ISAs

⚠️ It is important to remember that these proposals are currently speculation only and have not been announced by the Government. As with many Budget rumours, they may be amended, postponed or not introduced at all.

As always, it is worth reviewing your savings and investments regularly to ensure they remain aligned with your objectives and make the most of the tax allowances available to you.

📉 UK inflation has fallen to 2.8%, down from 3.3% in March.

However, experts predict it could increase again later this year.

What does that mean for your money?

If inflation rises faster than the interest on your savings, your money can lose spending power over time.
