Hardly world news but I've summoned the patience to use my domain hoster's clunky website design service to expand my home-made website from 1 to the maximum 5 pages! Plus made a new logo using good old Windows Paint. Life would be much easier if one of the ready-made templates looked perfect. Constructive or other feedback welcome - I can always blame the tools.

Sorry it's not my fault but a warning from 'Business and Accountancy Daily' that from next January online platforms such as eBay, Vinted, Deliveroo and Etsy will have to share sales data with HMRC. So if you have a SIDE HUSSLE of any sort with income more £1000 (including rentals) - NOW would be the time to register for Self-assessment. Message your friendly neighbourhood accountant for help.

Did you know HMRC have been targeting puppy breeding as an activity often done for profit that is not declared as a business? They have sent letters out to people who might be involved reminding them to register for self-assessment for 2023-24 before 5th October. If that's you and you want some advice please message me. Who doesn't like old money? The pitch is - are you paying more than £300 for self-employment or £500 for limited company accounts and tax return? I'm an ACCA accountant visiting clients and can maybe quote you happier if you want to roll the dice and message me back.
