Companies House Identity Verification – Mandatory from 18 November 2025
🚨 Big change coming for UK businesses!
From 18 November 2025, Companies House will require all directors and People with Significant Control (PSCs) to verify their identity.
✅ New directors – must verify on appointment
✅ Existing directors – must verify at the same time as their following confirmation statement
✅ PSCs – must verify within the 12-month transition window
❌ Failure to comply could mean you can’t act as a director and risk fines or criminal offence.
