A little quieter on socials. A lot happening behind the scenes. 👀

We have taken a bit of a break from posting over the summer to squeeze in some downtime and, for some of us, a trip to the mountains! 🏔️

But it has been far from quiet here in the Cadence office. The team have been busy supporting all our lovely clients and we have been working on some exciting plans - more on that over coming months.

Following last week’s announcement that we had been shortlisted as finalists in three categories at the Tandridge Business Awards, this week we have had the chance to talk in more detail about our team, our culture and what makes Cadence special during the interviews.

The conversations were thoughtful, the questions were brilliant and it was a great reminder of just how much there is to be proud of.

The past year has been our biggest yet. We have grown our team and client base, strengthened our brand, expanded our services, invested in the next generation and continued to challenge what people expect from an accountancy firm.

Investing in the next generation isn’t just something we talk about. 🩷

Last week, we welcomed our first work experience student of the summer to experience what life in accountancy is really like. We even added them to our website’s “Meet the Team” page for the week, because from day one we wanted them to feel like part of the team.

The feedback we received made us incredibly proud. Knowing someone leaves feeling welcomed, supported and inspired reminds us why opening our doors to young people matters.

Today’s students are tomorrow’s accountants, business owners and leaders. If we can help build confidence and maybe even inspire a future career, that’s a week well spent.

This is just the first of several work experience placements we will be hosting over the summer. We can’t wait to welcome the rest.👏

But there was still time for a birthday lunch , a 40th country festival (cowboy boots included 🤠) and the launch of our office World Cup sweepstake!
