Selective Consulting Ltd and Karen Kightley Ltd are a firm of accountants and are looking for a friendly, reliable person to join our small rural office team.

We’re looking for someone to work 4–5 days per week, with hours negotiable to suit the right candidate.

The role will primarily involve:
• Payroll
• VAT returns
• Making Tax Digital (MTD) submissions
• Other bookkeeping duties as required

Experience in payroll and/or bookkeeping is desirable.

We work with a wide range of small businesses, so we’re looking for someone who is organised, accurate and enjoys building good relationships with clients.

The Role:
✔️ Bookkeeping for a range of clients
✔️ Preparing & submitting VAT returns on Microsoft Excel
✔️ Running payrolls (weekly, fortnightly & monthly) using bespoke software
What we’re looking for:
👉 Experience in bookkeeping or payroll is great, but not essential – training will be provided
👉 Good attention to detail & organisation
👉 Confident using computers/software
