It was great to attend the Combined Chamber Breakfast meeting this morning and catch up with so many familiar faces, as well as making some new connections.

A big thank you to Ruth Martin for a brilliant 10-minute presentation on PR. It was also great to meet Keith Winter of D**e Yaxley Chartered Accountants for the first time, alongside Stuart Smallwood of Next Gear Leasing Ltd and Richard Baker of Greenhous Group Limited.

Always good to catch up with Kelly Mansell of ABC Human Resources Consultancy, Stewart Smith of Lanyon Bowdler, Howard Ellet of Oswestry Cricket Club and Rhian Thomas of Morris Cook Chartered Accountants too.

A really enjoyable morning, brilliantly hosted by Grace Bywater of Shropshire Chamber.

Last Thursday was a great opportunity to attend the latest Shropshire Chamber Of Commerce breakfast meeting, with some brilliant conversations and insights along the way.

It was lovely to meet Huw Davies from Finstem Accountants and Melanie Board, the Chamber’s Business Growth Manager, as well as hear from Colin Thaw of SBC Training, who shared some valuable insights around skills, training and business growth.

And on the way back from a client meeting later that day, I was treated to this view of the River Dyfi, with Aberdyfi and Borth further downstream. A pretty good office for the journey home!

A great day of connecting with local businesses, learning from others and enjoying a little of what the area has to offer.

A great Friday at the C**k Hotel for the latest Connect Educate & Collaborate (Shropshire) meeting.

This month’s presentation came from Sally Blake of Adorn Home Styling, who shared more about her new venture, Adorn Homes and Spaces.

It was also great to catch up with Kim Goode, Yiasmin Freestone, Carole Aveson, Sarah Carter and plenty of other familiar faces. A really enjoyable day with good conversations, new ideas and great company.
