Episode 3 of Progress in Practice is live and this one is a bit different.
Claire Fudge is the founder of Fourth Discipline, a clinical dietitian, performance nutritionist, and a serious athlete in her own right. She's completed 20 Ironman events and raced at the Ironman World Championships in Kona. She also built a business helping ambitious professionals and executives who are also athletes to perform at their best, in sport and in life.
Her story is a remarkable one. Growing up in a three-generation family bakery in Dorset, training as a clinical dietitian, being hit by an oil tanker on a morning run in North Yorkshire, and having that moment become the catalyst that changed everything.
In this episode, she talks about why nutrition isn't just about what you eat- it's about getting hours back in your day, staying competitive into your 40s, 50s, and beyond, and building the kind of health that sustains a high-performing life for decades.
She also shares a brilliant take on AI: don't resist it, use it. Digitalise the repetitive, humanise the exceptional.
19 minutes of genuine inspiration.
