🍰 Afternoon Tea for the Joshua Tree 🥪

Yesterday our Northwich office held a fundraiser for The Joshua Tree
Our “Tea for the Tree” event was a great way to bring people together and raise money to support families affected by childhood cancer.

Our team were treated to a selection of savoury and sweet food options from Cake to Scones, Pie to Pasta Salad, Sausage Rolls to Sandwiches as well as some other snacks and treats.

The Joshua Tree celebrates it’s 20th anniversary this year and we are delighted to support this brilliant local charity and mark this amazing milestone in their journey.

Two teams from bennettbrooks supported Adam Haines from Aaron & Partners Solicitors and Bruce Moran from Palatine Talent during their 13 hour padel tournament on Friday to raise money for Altrincham VS Cancer 2026.

Claire Hills and Rachel Nield-Fielding and Harry Compton FCCA and Elliott Compton took to the court to play matches against the fundraising duo as part of their “Padelathon” at Dunham Forest Golf & Country Club .

Congratulations to Adam and Bruce from everyone at bennettbrooks. An incredible effort to raise money for a very worthwhile cause.

There is less than 8 weeks to go until the first filing deadline for Making Tax Digital for Income Tax for businesses, self-employed individuals and landlords with a qualifying income over £50,000.

While there will be no penalties applied for the late quarterly filing during the 2026/27 tax year, digital records must still be maintained and updates submitted. However going forward, HMRC will be imposing both late submission penalties and late payment penalties.
