New Job. New Balance. Same Passion.

Today marked my official first day as an Independent Financial Adviser at Bob Gibbs Financial Planning—and I’m feeling so grateful and excited.

After a rewarding period of growth and learning as a self-employed adviser, I’ve chosen to move into an employed role—one that aligns more closely with both my professional ambitions and personal priorities.

As a mum to two young children, this new chapter brings the flexibility and balance I’ve been striving for. It means I can be more present at home, while continuing the work I’m passionate about: helping others achieve their financial goals.

From our very first conversation, it was clear that Bob Gibbs Financial Planning shares the values I hold dear—integrity, family, purpose, and people-first advice.

They say growth begins at the edge of your comfort zone—and I’m proud of the journey so far, and all that’s to come.

The real meaning of wealth…
It’s not just about income, status or material things.

For me, wealth is this.
It’s the sound of laughter as Noah (5) and Mia (4) spin around on the roundabout.
It’s seeing their faces light up when I collect them from school on a sunny afternoon and tell them we’re going straight to the park.
It’s being there for the moments I’ll never get back.

As a single mum, I know how hard the balance is.

I want to be present — not just physically, but truly there.
I also want to give my children every opportunity, every experience, every chance to grow.

That’s the juggling act:
Time vs money. Presence vs pressure. Providing vs being.

But when I look at these smiles, I’m reminded why I do it all.
Why every decision — about work, career, boundaries, and balance — comes back to them.

They’re only little for a little while.
And this, to me, is the richest life I could ask for.

Honored to be a finalist in the PA Awards 2025, especially in what remains a heavily male-dominated industry—only 16% of financial advisers in the UK were women as of 2022. Huge congratulations to the winner! 🎉 The last 20 months have been an incredible journey, and I’m so excited for what’s next! 😘✨

I had the absolute pleasure of meeting with some of the parents from yesterday evening 🌟 It was a joy to share insights into the financial education sessions I run at the school and discuss how they can give their children a head start and help them build healthy money habits.

Volunteering my time to teach financial education to children is something I’m truly passionate about and having parents involved makes it even more meaningful 🫶🏼 Together, I believe we can make a lasting, positive difference in our children’s lives, setting them up for a financially confident future as they grow into adulthood 🥰

A huge thank you to Mrs Rogers for letting us use the incredible Innovation Suite & a special thank you to those from who kindly volunteered their time to help serve refreshments 🤗

I look forward to meeting more of you in the future. If you see me in the school playground, please don’t hesitate to come over, say hello, and ask any questions you might have.

I can’t believe the summer holidays are closing in and on Thursday Noah will have his first day in year 1 and then the following week Mia will be having her first day at school 🥹

It’s not always easy juggling being a fun mum, keeping a home and running a business but my beautiful children and lovely clients make it all worth it 🤗

I feel incredibly blessed to be able to do a job I love and at the same time have the flexibility to work around my children & make memories with them that will last a lifetime.

This summer has been full of so many good times with friends, family, love & laughter.

A big thank you to everyone that has supported me, my business and little family ❤️

It was such a pleasure to spend the day at Barry Primary School today, delivering the ‘Money Matters’ session to both year 6 classes. A big thank you to Euan, Emily, Sophie & the teachers for volunteering their time and helping to facilitate the games within the session. A big thank you also, to all the children for getting involved and showing enthusiasm to learn about good things to do with money & dangerous things to do with money. It was lovely to see you all enjoy the session as much as we enjoyed delivering it and on behalf of and my volunteers, I would like to wish you all a wonderful summer ☀️
