Blu Sky were proud to exhibit at this year’s Entrepreneurs’ Forum Annual Conference.

The event brought together entrepreneurs, leaders and partners from across the North East for a day of honest insight, shared experience and brilliant conversations.

We’re lucky to have such an incredible network championing business across our region. Getting out of the office and hearing from the people who are building, scaling and leading with purpose is always a day well spent.

Chrissie and Bryony headed down to London for Accountex, one of the leading events in every accountant’s calendar.

They spent time catching up with familiar faces, meeting new people across the industry and hearing more about what’s next for accountants, advisors and the tech shaping the way we work.

Great to spend time with the team at Combinely for their Accounting Leaders Dinner!

Combinely have helped us build AI into our operations with Coco, their AI coworker. Coco speeds up our work and gives us more time to do what really matters – the people-first advice and problem solving our clients rely on us for.

It was a brilliant evening and a fantastic opportunity to hear more about how other firms are using AI across their business.

This “Walk and Talk” is designed to bring together like-minded, purpose-driven businesses and individuals for meaningful conversations in a more relaxed setting.

We'll enjoy a guided tour of the North Shields Art Trail, with plenty of time to chat, share ideas and build relationships with others in the B Corp and wider responsible business community.

This June, we’re joining up with B7 to host a business padel tournament and raise money for two brilliant local causes: YMCA North Tyneside and NEYouth.

Happy Earth Day from us at Blu Sky! 🌏🌱

Earth Day is a reminder that we all have a role to play in protecting the planet, from individuals and small businesses right through to large organisations.

Not because ESG is a buzzword, but because it’s the right thing to do. After all, Earth is the only home we’ve got.

Our environmental impact is something we think about all year round at Blu Sky. As a B Corp and member of the Good Business Charter, we every step possible to improve our impact and make responsible choices.

As part of that, we work with Ecologi to measure our carbon footprint and support verified climate projects, including reforestation, habitat restoration and carbon reduction initiatives, as we work towards carbon neutral status.

Today is a great reminder, but for us, building a better future is an everyday commitment.

Steve has been a key part of Blu Sky’s journey as we’ve evolved! Over the years he’s played an important role in shaping client relationships and bringing structure, discipline and clarity to how we operate.

More recently, he has stepped further into leadership, supporting our ongoing evolution and helping strengthen the platform for what comes next. His influence can be seen
across finance, operations and the way we continue to grow as a business.
