Accounting Technician or relevant experience in the sector.
Part time position at the minute with the view to full time, based in Newtownards, every day from 9am to 1pm or 3 full days 9-5 to include Thursday and Friday
Description
Our client portfolio is rapidly expanding with exciting new clients and because of this we are looking to recruit an Accounting Technician to join our team.
The Successful candidate must have knowledge in the following:
1. Preparation of Vat Returns on Sage line 50 under new HMRC Making Tax Digital rules for a variety of clients in all business sectors.
2. Payroll processing, including running of weekly/monthly payrolls including RTI submissions and setting up and running auto enrolment.
3. CIS returns.
4. Assist Accountants in accounts preparation.
5. Computerised Accounts, using Sage Accounts Production.
6. Preparing Monthly Management accounts.
7. Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients.
8. Microsoft office.
Desired knowledge, not essential
1. Preparation of Self Assessment Tax Returns.
2. Preparation of Corporation Tax Returns.
The successful candidate must have
1. Fully Qualified Accounting Technician.
2. Minimum 2 Years Practice Experience.
3. Good oral and written communication skills.
4. Good manner all round.
5. Be reliable.
