TWO INCREDIBLE CHALLENGES. TWO AMAZING CAUSES.

Over the next two months, two members of the Sempar team will be taking on huge challenges in support of charities incredibly close to their hearts.

First up, Mandy!

On 12th September, Mandy will be taking on the Cotswolds Mighty Hike, walking an incredible 26 miles for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Mandy is completing the challenge in loving memory of her lifelong friend, Vicky. Alongside her friendship group, she’ll be taking on this challenge to honour Vicky’s memory and raise vital funds for a charity that provides incredible support to people and families affected by cancer. 💚

Then it’s Molly’s turn!

On 4th October, Molly will be taking on the Manchester Half Marathon, running 13.1 miles in support of Alzheimer’s Society.

This is a cause incredibly close to Molly’s heart following her grandad’s experience with Alzheimer’s, and she’s hoping to raise vital funds to support others affected by dementia. 💙

Both Mandy and Molly have been training hard, and we’d love it if you could get behind them!

❤️ This is more than just a walk.

On 30th September, the Sempar team will be taking on a challenge with the Help Appeal - County Air Ambulance Trust - walking from the Great Orme in Llandudno to Bangor Hospital 🚁🏥

Why?

Because when someone needs critical emergency care, every minute matters.

The challenge will help raise vital funds for the Help Appeal - County Air Ambulance Trust and support their life-saving work, including celebrating the new double helipad at Bangor Hospital, helping to improve access to critical emergency care when it matters most. 🚁🏥

🎬 Meet the Team: Nat! 👋

Our people are at the heart of everything we do at Sempar, and our Meet the Team series is all about getting to know the brilliant people behind the scenes who make it all happen.

Today, we’re shining the spotlight on Nat! ✨

Nat joined Sempar 7 years ago, originally working in an admin and credit control role. After some fantastic in-house training, she made the move into our bookkeeping team - and hasn’t looked back!

Today, Nat supports a number of our clients with their bookkeeping and has also taken on responsibility for looking after VAT returns.

And when she’s not keeping our clients’ numbers in order, you’ll often find Nat keeping herself fit! 💪 She’s a regular at BodyBarn, which she tells us has become a little bit addictive! 😂

We’re so lucky to have Nat as part of Team Sempar ❤️

🌟👏 As July comes to a close, we’re taking a moment to celebrate some very special team milestones . . .

🎉 10 years of Beth at Sempar!

Beth was our very first team member after Steve and Aludia, and what a journey it’s been. Joining us while studying for her ACCA, Beth has shown incredible dedication from day one - always ready to take on any challenge and give it her all.

From passing her ACCA exams with flying colours to stepping into a key manager review role, Beth has played a huge part in shaping Sempar into what it is today. Not only does she lead by example, but she also supports our people day in, day out with their workplans and development.

It’s been amazing to watch Beth grow - not just in her career, but in confidence too. We couldn’t be prouder to have had her with us for 10 incredible years 💚

🎉 9 years of James!

James first joined us on work experience, and it didn’t take long for us to realise we had someone pretty special on our hands. His confidence and natural enthusiasm stood out straight away - not just to us, but to our clients too.

Always willing to lend his time and expertise, James embodies what it means to be part of our people. Today, he plays a key role as our Digital Transformation Lead, while also supporting Sempar Commercial Finance.

Our Sempar Summer Social was in full swing on Friday . . . and what a night it was! 🎉

This was a well-deserved chance to bring our incredible team together and celebrate our people, recognising the hard work, growth and impact happening across the business.

We headed to Trentham Gardens for one of their summer concerts - great music, great atmosphere, and even better company. 🙌🤩

Because building something special isn’t just about what we do . . . it’s about our people. 💚
