What does the election result mean for housing and mortgages?

Labour’s manifesto included:

🏠 Building
- Aim to build 1.5m homes during this parliament.
- immediately update the National Policy Planning Framework… including restoring mandatory housing targets

📈 Mortgages
- introduce a “permanent, comprehensive mortgage guarantee scheme” to support first time buyers who struggle to save for a large deposit, with lower mortgage costs.

💰 Stamp Duty
- increase the rate of Stamp Duty Land Tax for non-UK residents buying property in the UK.

So what will change for YOU in the immediate future?
