So the rumour mill is that Rachel Thieves will drop the VAT registration threshold from £90k to £30k. (Madness!!)

I can’t see this happening as it would negate the MTD (making tax digital) programme which they been working on for years. Any business or landlord with an income of over £50k would be required to comply with MTD.
Up to Nov 23 MTD has cost HMRC £642 million.
Which is set to rise to £1.3billion.

It just doesn’t make sense. But then there are plenty other examples of things that don’t make sense in government.
We will wait and see….

Celebrating 25 Years of Hydrus Group

Today we marked a major milestone in our journey, our 25th anniversary year, with a special Open Day. It was fantastic to welcome everyone, fire up the BBQ, and spend some time together as a team.

We couldn’t miss the chance to capture a team photo (minus a few who were out on site!) after a great afternoon of good food, laughs, and conversations. From our workshop crew to our office teams, we’re proud of the people who make Hydrus what it is.

Thank you to everyone who joined us today and to all who’ve supported us over the past 25 years. Here’s to the next chapter!
