Payment deadline = 31st July 2025.

👉🏼 PRACTICE WHAT YOU PREACH! 👈🏼
… is the message & finally, I did exactly this!

This time last year, I bit the bullet & outsourced all of my Anti-Money Laundering compliance & Client onboarding.

I outsourced the part of my business that:
❌ I wasn’t very good at!
❌ I couldn’t give enough attention to!
❌ I hated doing!

BUT It’s a vitally important part of my business  - I HAVE to comply with the rules set by my licence provider.
However, it was taking a huge amount of my time & brain-space away from my actual work… I was behind, struggling & it felt like a weight around my neck!

Luckily for me, there are professionals out there who:
✅ fully understand what’s needed to be compliant.
✅ have the time/attention to give.
✅ enjoy doing the work!!

So now, I pay someone else to do it for me! 🙌🏼
Enabling me to focus on my business & my clients.

So what’s actually changed during this time?
💥 I have taken on multiple new clients.
💥 I have been able to improve my processes & provision.
💥 I have had my highest ever turnover month to date.
💥 I have taken on my first employee!
💥 I have GOALS! 🤣 me, GOALS! 🤣

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that this action has contributed to my expansion.

I have 15+ years experience from multiple sectors - practice, industry, manufacturing, the private sector - which I’m able to draw from to help my lovely clients!

If you only submit a self assessment tax return due to your child benefit threshold breach & you have NO OTHER REASON to complete a self assessment, then this one is for you!

Launching in Summer 2025 (take that with a pinch of salt…. 👀🫠) you will be able to pay back your over claim through your PAYE scheme!

You will no longer need to be registered for self assessment, instead reporting your figures through HMRC’s “new digital service”.

Today, the 3rd turnover threshold has been announced by HMRC for it’s MTD ITSA scheme.

This relates to COMBINED self-employed income AND rental income, with the threshold measure based on TURNOVER, not PROFIT!

👉🏼 £50k+ combined turnover, you’ll be mandated from April 2026

👉🏼 £30k+ combined turnover, you’ll be mandated from April 2027

👉🏼 £20k+ combined turnover, you’ll be mandated from April 2028.

This means
✅ Compulsory use of digital software
✅ Compulsory digital receipt storage
✅ Compulsory Quarterly returns PLUS the standard Year End tax return.
