As Mental Health Awareness Week reminds us, checking in with people can make more of a difference than we realise. A simple “How are you really doing?” can open the door to support, connection, and understanding.
In fast-paced working environments, it’s easy to focus on deadlines, targets, and responsibilities while forgetting the importance of protecting our wellbeing. Taking breaks, setting boundaries, asking for help, and supporting each other should never feel like weaknesses, they are essential.
Be kind to yourself. Be kind to others. You never truly know what someone may be carrying behind the scenes.
